With a fluorescent dissolved oxygen sensor based on the quenching principle of specific fluorescence, it offers exceptional accuracy and sensitivity.

The sensor uses blue light from a light-emitting diode (LED) to illuminate the fluorescent material on the inner surface of the fluorescent cap. This excites the fluorescent material, causing it to emit red light. By detecting the phase difference between the red and blue light, and using an internal calibration value, the sensor calculates the concentration of oxygen molecules in the sample.

One of the key benefits of this sensor is that it requires almost no maintenance and experiences almost no annual drift, ensuring consistent and accurate readings over time. Additionally, the sensor compensates for changes in temperature, ensuring accurate measurements in a variety of conditions.

The dissolved oxygen meter also features a large 3.5-inch touchscreen display that simultaneously displays water temperature, dissolved oxygen concentration (in Mg/L), and dissolved oxygen saturation (as a percentage). The touchscreen interface makes it easy to navigate the menu and view reading data, and the compact and rugged design of the meter makes it ideal for use in a variety of environments.

• No Maintenance Optical Probe using Fluorescent Technology, with Stainless Steel Case – The fluorescent dissolved oxygen sensor is based on the quenching principle of the specific fluorescence of the specific substance in physics. Blue light from a light-emitting diode (LED) illuminates the fluorescent material on the inner surface of the fluorescent cap, and the fluorescent material on the inner surface is excited to emit red light by detecting the phase difference between red and blue light and the internal calibration value. The ratio is calculated to calculate the concentration of oxygen molecules, and the final value is automatically compensated by temperature and pressure.
• Water Temperature (°C), Dissolved Oxygen (Mg/L), Dissolved Oxygen (% Saturation) – all displayed simultaneously to provide the user with all the information needed on one simple screen, data is displayed on bar graphs with colour changing features to draw attention to readings of concern. Each of the three values, can be selected and then expanded into larger view, perfect to view in more detail or for fish transport conditions where larger, easier to read values are more desirable.
